Our take on a summer carnival staple. All the flavor of fried dough without the frying. We cover our sourdough focaccia in a cinnamon and sugar mixture, creating an experience that instantly transports you to the summer fair or a boardwalk along the beach.

Golden Wheat Sourdough
The Golden Wheat loaf doesn't compromise on either health or flavor. It's a take on the classic “O.G.” Sourdough loaf, but uses Golden Wheat flour, and is finished with a little hint of local Upton honey and olive oil, yielding a slightly lighter color and milder taste than the traditional wheat breads you grew up with.

Petal & Crumb is a florist and boutique in downtown Upton. They've been kind enough to host all of our weekend pickups in their shop. Stop in for bread, leave with a houseplant, possibly a candle.

Who we are
It started with one good loaf and a cat named Nancy Bean.
Black Cat Baking Company is a micro-bakery run out of a small kitchen in Upton, Massachusetts. Every loaf is shaped by hand. Every cookie is scooped, weighed, and baked in small batches. The cat does not knead the dough, but she would absolutely like to.
